Vlad von Carstein was the first and greatest of the Vampire Counts of Sylvania. It was he who tainted the once human aristocracy of Sylvania with the curse of Undeath, and in so doing created an Undead Kingdom in the heart of the Empire. Vlad blends powerful Necromantic abilities with an awesome fighting prowess – he can raise Skeletons as easily as he can butcher entire regiments. With the power of the Carstein Ring at his finger tips (on his finger to be more accurate) he is virtually indestructible, simply disappearing into the ground as the fatal blow is struck, only to reappear nearby. He will then exact his revenge on the unfortunate victim who thought he’d got the better of the most fearsome Vampire to walk the Old World.
