Sāchā are Shinju’s xenotechnology seekers. Sometimes former CRASHERS, they are the weirdos who explore QAZs (Quantum Anomaly Zones or Quarantine/Alien Zones.) Sāchā are independent treasure seeker types, and they’ve got expertise at finding alien tech from anamalous environs like Shinju, and before that, Paradiso or even briefly on Concilium.

Governments, corporations, and intelligence agencies hire Sāchā teams as deniable assets to retrieve artifacts in contested or quarantined regions like the Ryakudatsu Barrenlands.

The term is a Japanese loanword. “サーチャー (sāchā)” means searcher.
